On the job and formal training available
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications
Represent Quantum Detectors at international meetings
Discuss applications with scientists and provide solutions to meet their technical requirements
Listen, understand and convey customer requirements to the company
Generate leads, maintain accurate records of prospect quotes, projects and correspondence in the database
Travel to customer sites to perform demonstrations, installations, calibrations and provide training
Work closely with internal & external scientific and engineering staff to produce documentation for the support of the detector systems
Fault finding and support
Qualification & Experience: Essential
Degree in a scientific discipline or electronic engineering
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Must have a full UK or EU driving license
Qualification & Experience: Desirable
Familiar with Linux operating systems and comfortable with the command line interface
Experience of working at an international science facility
Experience in a customer facing role
Experience in the use of electronic test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes etc.)
Must be available to travel within the UK and abroad, including overnight absences
Must have the flexibility to adapt to the challenges and opportunities presented by
working for a small company
