This is a commercial contemporary gallery who sell both original paintings & limited edition prints. There is a wide range of styles of contemporary art. The artwork is really STUNNING & a great product to sell.
Please note: this is a target driven SALES role, so you must be target orientated & hungry to make sales/commission.
Please do not apply unless you have sales (high end retail/luxury goods are preferable but any will be considered) experience & are focused on a career in Sales.
The role will involve a combination of reacting to the Gallery footfall, but also more proactive sales using the client database and general sales/marketing. You MUST also have an outgoing/vibrant & highly confident personality - again, please do not apply unless your personality matches this description!
A general interest in Art is required, however you do not need to be an expert. Obviously a willingness to learn & show passion for the product is imperative, in order to able to sell it successfully.
You will work weekends, c. 3 out of 4 weekends per month (with days off during the week if you work the weekend). A driving license is highly desirable as they do home approvals/consultations, where you take the art out to their home (expenses paid if you use your own car)
