Job Description for Key Account Director:
Our client is one of the world’s leading online learning organisations. They Partner with higher education establishments to create online courses. They are in an exciting period of growth and are looking to hire a Key Account Director. The role is a senior position and involves working with and supporting Partners to help deliver their courses and plan future courses.
To be considered, candidates must have recent experience of working with Partners in higher education (Universities). Plus key account management, delivering on commercial objectives, along with a good working knowledge of how universities operate.
You should have a consultative approach with an engaging nature with the ability to become a trusted and credible advisor.
The role is varied and you will be able to develop, present, and discuss rich data and analysis to help identify programmes with high commercial potential. You will collaborate internally to deliver the products and services available to partners.
The role is office based but will involve meeting Partners either in London or on campus.
Experience & Skills for this role:
* Strong and recent Account Management experience within the University education sector
* Good understanding of commercial objectives
* An understanding of internal stakeholder engagement
* Consultative approach with a hunter / farmer mix – erring on the side of the farmer
* A real interest in higher education
* Motivated, organised and collaborative
* Proven track record of achieving targets.
