Benefit Cosmetics UK - Events & Promotions Coordinator   


To support the Events & Promotions department in all functions.

Please note that this role will be based at our Head Office in Chelmsford, Essex (some travel nationwide and outside of office hours would be necessary at times however).

Duties include:

Product launch events & ongoing support of The Brow collection and services

·         Project manage brand activations and events

·         Embedding brand guidelines

·         Copywriting and editing

·         Production of critical paths

·         Working with internal teams on amplification of activations and 360 planning

·         Briefing and collaborating with all in house functions and retail colleagues

·         Briefing and working alongside Production and PR agencies

·         Working with finance and brand analysts to ensure all activates are maximised, evaluated and analysed, sharing results with relevant stakeholders.

·         Keep accurate cost trackers for all activities

Boutique Events

·         Work with Events and Promotions Manager to execute boutiques in store events calendar

·         Maintain and amplify existing events and strategies

·         Build relationships with local partner businesses and create brand partnerships

·         Support boutique teams with the execution of exhibitor events 

Supporting all marketing functions:

·         Work in line with Product Marketing, Digital, PR and Trend teams to support the overall 360 degree marketing strategy

Ad Hoc

·         Oversee usage of annual allocation of samples and TOA’s at our France and UK distribution centres

·         Oversee UK storage facilities

·         Support National Accounts team with retailer events

·         Work with Benefits dedicated charities; Refuge and Look Good Feel Better to support their annual events calendar and any ad hoc requests

·         Research and negotiate with suppliers for all events supplies

·         Research opportunities for the brand and monitor activities of competitors

·         Communicating to and inspiring the wider business on brand activations and sharing results

·         Team admin

Required  Experience/ Skills:

·         Minimum of 2 year’s experience 

·         Good organisation skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Good interpersonal skills / verbal communication skills  

·         Flexibility

·         Excellent IT skills and keen interest in social media

·         Ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously and to deadlines

·         Self-motivated / pro-active

·         Good negotiating skills
